Miterworks is offering student project teams such as FSAE, Formula Hybrid, and Baja SAE who are doing tube chassis construction a 20% discount on CNC profiled tube sets. Take advantage of the high level of accuracy and reduce the amount of fixturing and build time required to complete a frame. The offer applies to parts cut from round tubing (mild steel or 4130). Bending is available for roll-hoops in common tube diameters and centerline radii, contact us for more info about bending capabilities.

We process parts directly from CAD data, and generally work with assemblies exported as STEP or Parasolid files from your preferred CAD system. We don't require any special processing of the cad files, as long as the parts are trimmed to reflect the order in which you want the tubes to come together at each node when welding.

Shipping:

We generally ship kits via UPS. We will include the shipping amount in the invoice total. Shipping costs will be less when only straight tubes are provided (no rollhoops) since UPS charges more for larger volumes. If you have a local bending provider you may want to consider the tradeoffs.

Payment:

We currently accept credit card payments for tube sets. We will send an online invoice payable with Mastercard, Visa, or American Express. Once payment is competed we will ship the tube kit.
